Wedderspoon is proud to offer the first and only NonGMO verified Manuka honey available nationwide; sourced from pristine areas of New Zealand's South Island. Each batch can be traced back to the beekeeper! Manuka pollen is collected by honey bees from the Manuka tree (Leptospermum scoparium). This bush only flowers 26 weeks of the year and comes from the same plant family as the Tea Tree in Australia. Premium Manuka honey contains naturally occurring methylglyoxal components, live enzymes, high pollen count and antioxidant properties.
