La Bio Idea Candied Orange Baking 100g: La BIO IDEA citrus peel is made from the rinds of oranges or lemons. The fruit is first washed and manually selected for quality. The rind is separated from the pulp and cut into blocks in a machine. It is cooked briefly, after which corn syrup is added. This prolongs the life of the peel, enabling it to retain its fresh, sweet flavour. For use in baking pies, cakes or other pastry. Candied orange or lemon peel can also be used to prepare meat dishes, giving sauces a delicious aroma. Ingredients: glucose syrup (made from corn), orange peel 25%, salt ,citric acid.
